Qualification of Applicants
    For the training program, the applicants are preferred to be researchers, officials, or senior practical engineers related to seismic design. ITP2008 will review the applications, and then give admissions to those qualified.

Applying Process
    You can fill out the application form online after your registration. At the end of reviewing your pplication form, ITP2008 will send you the notice. If you pass the review, you will get an admission and an invitation. If you get the admission, please take a physical examination. Send a copy of you examination report to ITP2008.

Notes:
1. ITP2008 will send you an e-mail for information when we receive your register. If you have not received the e-mail a couple days after you register, please make contact with the contact person.
2. Try to check your e-mail frequently. E-mail is the major communication in the applying process.

Physical Examination Requirement
    Each participant must have a physical examination if he or she gets an admission to the training program. The examination must include participants' recent photo, blood type, heart disease examination, high blood pressure examination, malaria examination, HIV examination, and Hepatitis examination. Participants who get an admission should send a copy of the physical report to ITP2008, and also bring the physical report to Taiwan.

Flight Fee and Accommodation
    ITP2008 will pay the participants for their flight fee, accommodation fee, and the lunches in the six days (sponsored by the department of international programs, National Science Council in Taiwan.) The accommodation and lunches will be arranged by ITP2008. There are upper bounds of the flight fee support; nevertheless, our experiences tell us the flight fee is mostly lower than the upper bounds. We will inform participants about the upper bound when we send the admissions. ITP2008 will arrange 6-day single-room accommodation for each participant in Howard International (http://intl-house.howard-hotels.com/?Lsn=2). If participant wants to advance or extend the date, he or she will pay the extra fee. The rate is about 50 to 60 USD per day.
